Make Money With Internet

The single most common question I get from readers is, "How can I really make money on the Internet?" That's often followed by, "I don't have a product, I don't have a Web site, and I don't know much about marketing and selling." If you do a web search for "make money online" or "making money online", you'll see why a lot of people also ask, "Is anyone really making money online other than Internet marketing experts selling information about Internet marketing?" There are a lot of legitimate ways to make money online without having your own product or being a marketing expert. Far too many of them, though, may make money, but not enough money to really justify the time you spend. Yes, you can get paid to read e-mail ads and take surveys, but the pay works out to slightly above minimum wage. If you enjoy taking surveys and reading ads that's fine, but no matter how efficient you get at it, you're only going to make a slight increase in your pay.

But there's a whole new generation of companies with business models that include paying you for what and who you know, whether it's $1 for each valid business contact or $10,000 for a successful referral of a job candidate. Or did you know that it's possible to make a six-figure income from blogging? Most importantly, these all have no theoretical limit to how much you can make for the time you spend because you're not being paid for your time, but for the value you create. And a smart entrepreneur knows that's where the real money is.

• I've compiled a list of business opportunities with legitimate companies that:

• Pay cash, not just points towards rewards or a chance to win money

• Don't require you to have your own Web domain or your own products

• Don't involve any hard-selling

• Aren't just promoting more Internet marketing

• Give a good return on your time investment

Whether you're a busy entrepreneur looking for supplemental cash flow for a minimal time investment or a student or stay-at-home parent seeking alternatives to the mediocre opportunities offered by all the "make money online" hype, there's something here for everyone.
